Park factor history
Five single seasons and the three year rolling view Baseball Savant shows by default. Reading them side by side is how you tell a park that has changed from a park that had one odd year.

The ballpark itself
At 1,086 feet the park sits well above the 518 foot league average, enough to add carry on a warm night. Home plate points north toward centre field, at 0.0 degrees, which is what turns a wind forecast into a blowing out or blowing in read rather than a guess. The roof is listed as retractable in the MLB venue record, so the run environment changes with the roof call. Playing surface is artificial turf. The average fence sits 380 feet from the plate, 9 feet deeper than the league average, and the average wall is 11.7 feet high.

What it means for a bet
Totals
The park adds runs, so the posted total already reflects it. The edge is not in backing overs blind, it is in the days the market treats this park as generic: a cold night, a closed roof, or a pitching matchup that moves the number further than the park justifies.
Home run props
Scoring runs ahead of home runs by 14 points, so the runs come from balls in play rather than over the fence. Fade home run props, look at hits and total bases instead.
Strikeout props
At 89 the park costs pitchers strikeouts. Unders on strikeout props and a slightly lower expectation on the starter's line are the natural reads.
Handedness
The home run index favours right handed hitters by 26 points (104 against 78). When a lineup is stacked the other way, the park is doing less for them than the headline number suggests.
Time of day
Day games run 6 points lower on the run index than night games (102 against 108), which is a real split and not one most totals models carry.
Roof
With the roof open the run index is 106, closed it is 106, a 0 point swing. The roof decision is public before first pitch and the total does not always move with it.
Every index on this page is a three year rolling figure unless the column says otherwise, and all of it is league relative: 100 is average, not neutral in an absolute sense. Park factors describe the venue, not tonight's pitching matchup, and they are the starting point of a number rather than the whole of it.
