Sizing it 3 units is the statement that the 69.7 percent ask is still short of what this matchup should do.
The Brewers at -200 are the second rung. Milwaukee is 97 and 58 with a run differential of +199. Jacob Misiorowski has a 1.89 ERA, a 0.81 WHIP and 243 strikeouts in 166.1 innings. If Misiorowski has another 4 inning, 5 earned run night like September 2, this is the other ticket that wrecks the day.
THE CHEAPER FAVORITES AND THE TWO UNDERS
The Phillies at -166 are 1.5 units on purpose. Cristopher Sanchez is 17 and 6 with a 2.93 ERA in 193.2 innings, and his last two starts were 6 earned runs and 5 earned runs. You do not put Guardians money on a pitcher who just got hit twice. Corbin Burnes has thrown 7.2 innings this year. Will Warren's last three starts were 0, 1 and 0 earned runs. 1.62 at risk for 1.5 units to win is a different product from 6.90 at risk for 3.
Both unders are posted at 8. Petco Park finished with 8 or fewer combined runs in 46 of 77 finals this season, 59.7 percent, and with 7 or fewer in 39 of 77, 50.6 percent. Boston is 46 and 34 on the road. The Rays home mark is the case, not a mismatch in the standings.
Alcantara's last four proper starts were 4, 4, 7 and 4 earned runs. Petco has to do a lot of work if that continues.
